My experience with a drill

oh yay. I had to have a bone marrow test done on September 26th. Chris decided to drive instead of us taking the metro which turned out to be a BIG blessing. Ambien gave me diarrhea of the mouth and another day of not remember much of anything. I made doctor appointments, tried to sell one of Chris' cars and just became ms. chatter box. HAHAHA

Chris held my hand during everything. I get to the room, lay face down on this bed thing and Dr. Fox asks if I want to see the instruments. Judging by the look on Chris' face, I said no real fast. His eyes were HUGE!!  Well, I felt the needle that had the numbing stuff and not much of anything else. I did feel a bit of tugging and knew when he was using the drill thing because my body was rocking back and forth a bit and one brief second of FIRE when he took a sample. Oye.. glad it was over. I didn't hurt much at all that day, but the following one it was hard to sit. All in all, it was not that bad. Here's a photo of the instruments used for the bone marrow biopsy..
Kinda gross huh? I thought so too. LOL yuck.
